Byrnes Out Up to Two Months

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder/pop-up artist Eric Byrnes is going to be out 1-2 months after breaking his hand last night after getting hit in his last at-bat before being taken out of the game against the Texas Rangers, a game the Dbacks eventually lost 9-8 in 12 innings.
I can’t say I am disappointed to see him take a seat. After a rough start, a very brief of positive results, and back to the same old Eric Byrnes, he finally landed himself on the DL, something many other Dbacks have become well accustomed to this season, only 73 games in.
I’m never one to root for an injury and I wish Byrnes well. He is a good human being with a good heart, but honestly right now not a very good player to say the least.
