I never said Lincecum didn't deserve it. Haren just deserved it more. He was chose over Haren because of the wins and because he was sick last yr and was last years Cy Young winner. It should totally be about this year and this year alone. Statistically, Haren is better except for wins (which is more a team stat and he only trails by one there anyways) and the strikeouts, for which Haren is not lagging that far behind. It's all about getting people out period and Haren has gotten more people out more often. His ERA, base on balls total, his opponents avg, they all sway in favor of Haren and you will never convince me otherwise. If Haren was a San Francisco Giant and Lincecum was a Diamondback I would be making the same argument.

You said you would mention stikeouts later. You did not. Tim Lincecum 149, Dan Haren 129. Thats 20 more strickeouts in about the same number of innings. Haren is maybe the best in the league but Timmy getting the nod is not BS, he deserves it.

Seriously, if we were talking about Zito instead of Lincecum you would have an arguement. step back and read your comments, your talking about two pitchers who are at the top of the major leagues in dominance and record. stop writing as if Herron was screwed because he wasn't.
