Yusmeiro Petit, yes that one, has pitched a second straight gem so far this evening. He is currently pitching a no-hitter through 6 innings. The Arizona Diamondbacks currently lead the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-0 in the top of the seventh.
Petit, all but given up for dead a week and a half ago when he was blasted by these same Pirates in Phoenix, has found new life as a starting pitcher in the past two games.
Keep an eye, Petit has never gone further than 7 in his short career so far. We go to the bottom of the seventh….
