Dbacks Finish LA With Series Split 2-2

Posted by: azscott

The Arizona Diamondbacks looked like a team that could complete a sweep at times in the series just completed with the Los Angeles Dodgers and at times, and most of tonight, the Dbacks appeared to be just going through the motions once again.  They leave LA with a split.  It’s better than nothing, but it could have been so much better.

Recently traded Jon Garland won the battle with Billy Buckner.  Buckner was called up to start in place of Garland, who was traded on Monday from the Dbacks to the Dodgers.  My only question is, when does the Buckner experiment end?  This guy is about as effective as a butter knife on a ribeye steak.

Now it’s off to Colorado.  Oh goodie.  At least Dan Haren is pitching.  Wait, scratch that.  I forgot, that’s no longer a given either.
