As spring training closes out this week, what have we learned about the Arizona Diamondbacks?
Diamondbacks are having issues finding a solid starting rotation. No one wants to step up for the fourth and fifth spots. At least when Brandon Webb returns, wait never mind, I’m not holding my breath on that one.
Speaking of Webb, does anyone else think he’s pitched his last game for the Diamondbacks?
Power hitting shouldn’t be the problem. The heart of the order is as strong as any in baseball with Justin Upton, Adam Laroche, and Mark Reynolds.
The bullpen could be a problem. Then again, I think we’ve always seen that as a weakness to this team. It will be interesting to see how Chad Qualls returns from his gruesome injury.
It’s been an average spring for the Dbacks, so not sure what to expect when they take the field against the San Diego Padres one week from today. I do know though that I am ready for some regular season baseball!
