So, in what manner will the Arizona Diamondbacks lose tonight?
When you have the offensive juggernaut and the pitching prowess that the Dbacks do, anything is bound to happen. The Dbacks open a four-game stand tonight at Chase Field against the Florida Marlins. Does anyone still care? I actually am going tomorrow night and sitting in a suite. I’m going for free thanks to a contest I won. That’s about the only way you will get me to a game these days.
After getting swept to the lowly Chicago Cubs, it’s now a wonder if this team is destined to win many more game this year? The Cubs were a team many thought, including yours truly, the Dbacks would handle easily, winning at least two. They just got outplayed in every phase of the game though. Clearly this is a miserable team and in turn makes us miserable as fans. The Dbacks have some great fans and I know management made a big front office move last week, but it’s time to make player moves. We need to start building for next year and beyond. I declare this season a loss. Question is, do the players have any heart left? They sure haven’t acted like it lately.
