Dbacks Start Three Game Series With Rockies

The Arizona Diamondbacks don’t have much rest down the stretch, with only two off days between now and the end of the season.  Today isn’t one of them though as the Colorado Rockies come to town for a three game set.  The Rockies last week seemed poised to possibly make another September run, but after losing two of three this weekend to the Los Angeles Dodgers, it seems less likely for that to happen this season.

Tonight, Daniel Hudson takes the mound.  Hudson, is 13-9, looking now for his 14th win.  If he stays on a winning track, he could end up with 17-18 wins on the season, which for the youngster, would be just fine with everyone.

As for the Rockies, they will counter with Alex White, whom they recently acquired from the Cleveland Indians.  He’s given up 2,3,1, and 5 earned runs in his four starts this season.  The five earned runs were against the Houston Astros in his only other National League start.
