Dbacks Look to Close Out Rockies

The Arizona Diamondbacks have a chance to close out the six-game homestand on a perfect note tonight against the Colorado RockiesJosh Collmenter will be taking the mound as the Dbacks looking to make it back to back sweeps of National League West rivals.

The starting pitching has been phenomenal over the course of this eight game winning streak, giving up only five earned runs over 54 innings pitched.  That’s an ERA of 0.83.  I don’t know about you, but I consider that pretty darn good!  Collmenter hopes to continue the roll tonight.

The Dbacks will need all the momentum they can get going on the road for the next six, three against the San Francisco Giants, who won today 4-0 over the Chicago Cubs, and three against these same Rockies in Colorado.  Giddy up! Or should I say Gibby up!

“giving up only five earned runs over 54 innings pitched”

I think this is a typo cus it’s wrong. He’s given up 5 ER in his last 4 games.
