Reports of Don Baylor Being Fired in Venezuela

Arizona Diamondbacks hitting coach Don Baylor, who has been managing in the winter leagues down in Venezuela, has apparently lost his job as manager.  I don’t know too much at this point, however, according to information I am getting on Twitter, it looks like team performance has to do with it.

Baylor has been managing a team called the Bravos.  His team’s record is currently 15-27, 10 games out of first.  All I have to say is that is a quick trigger.   Shows you how seriously they take their baseball down in South America.  This is certainly an interesting development.  More to come as it becomes available.
