Diamondbacks to unveil new batting practice hat

facebooktwitterreddit

In news that probably only I care about, the Arizona Diamondbacks (and every other MLB team) are unveiling a new batting practice hat for the 2013 season. Similar to previous years, these hats will also be worn during spring training games.

The new cap will feature the D’backs sedona red “A” logo with a red bill and a black crown. The look is very similar to the Diamondbacks alternate black hat that they have been wearing for a couple years. Most of the new hats for each team are pretty boring and plain but Arizona’s actually looks alright. There really is no reason for the addition of a new hat for each team but hey, at least it’s another thing you can buy in the team store at spring training this year!

Nothing new here for the D’backs however, not a bad looking cap

Sure, this information is trivial to most, but I was a little Cody Rossed out for the week. Yes, I just used Rossed as a verb. Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers and catchers report sometime around February 11th or 12th to try out the new lids for the season.
