Archie Bradley is Number 1

MLB.com provided its list of Top 10 right-handed pitching prospects today. At the top is the name most, if not all all Arizona Diamondbacks’ fans want to see pitch at Chase Field in 2014: Archie Bradley. It is the third straight season the hard-throwing Bradley made this list, having been #9 in 2012 and #8 in 2013.

The only question as it relates to rankings is how far up will Bradley be in the Top 100 prospects for 2014? At this time last year, he checked in at #18 and over the Summer, the site put him at #7. Perhaps at midseason we could be able to see Braden Shipley appear on this list for the first time. Last year heading into Spring Training, Tyler Skaggs was ranked as the #1 lefty pitching prospect and #9 overall.
