Ender Inciarte to D.L Tony Campana back in the majors

The Diamondbacks have been making alot of moves over the past few days to the roster and the organization and it continued yesterday. Dbacks OF Ender Inciarte was placed on the 7 day concussion D.L meaning that he will be out for at least one week. He flew back to Phoenix instead of going to Los Angeles with the rest of his team. He will undergo concussion tests today.

Inciarte suffered a concussion Thursday in Houston while stealing second base in the third inning. As he stole the base, he was struck in the head by Astros SS Johnathan Villar’s knee.

He remained in the game but he said that he still felt concussion symptoms including blurry vision and was removed from the game as a precaution in the sixth inning. He appeared in 34 games and hit .205 with 4 RBI’s. This couldn’t have been a worse time for Inciarte to get injured. He was finally seeing regular major league playing time with the injuries to the Snakes outfield, and now he will be out.

Tony Campana comes back to the major leagues from Reno and for any team that is a good thing. He provides a spark when he gets on base and disrupts the pitchers rhythm. He steals base with ease and creates opportunities for the middle of the order. He is the definition of  a quality leadoff hitter. He just wants to provide a spark for the team for however long he is here.

The Diamondbacks will be in Los Angeles for a three game set against the Dodgers.  If you grab tickets, make sure to check out barrys tickets dodger giveaways blog piece to se what type of giveaways the Dodgers have for this series!
