I am a sports enthusiast, fan, writer, blogger, analyst, host and tweeter (@JLBurnfin)! I grew up in a family of Dodgers fans watching Mike Piazza and Raul Mondesi. But I have always been an avid contrarian so I HAD to choose a different team. That was right about the time MLB decided to expand creating the Arizona D-backs and the then Tampa Bay Devil Rays. But I chose the D-backs as my team and have stuck with them through thick and thin. I enjoy the opportunity to cover them for Venom Stikes. I am currently the Sports Editor for the Glasgow Courier in Montana and you can see my personal blog at jlburnfin.wordpress.com/.
