There must have been some kind of bases on balls charity event going on in San Diego last night.  What?  Was there like a pay per walk incentive for Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers last night?  I mean, after all, they did walk 10 Padres hitters, including the game winner in the 11th inning.  Four balls equal one more loss.

The Arizona Diamondbacks bullpen is blowing up with three walks to load the bases.  Walks killed Armando Galarraga early in New York on Sunday.  I've said it, every baseball analyst has said it.  Walks will kill you.  You've got to have control and the loss of control of this game is about to happen thanks to the free passes.  It's maddening.

Walks I believe are a contagious disease in baseball.  The good teams can fight them off and the poor teams only know how to pass it along to the next guy.  You can probably count the Dbacks in the latter.

Stay tuned, this could get very interesting....
