Note to the Dbacks front office:  Juan Gutierrez needs to go.  You found the heart to cut Bob Howry.  You gave up on Daniel Stange.  You showed Blaine Boyer the door.  Now it’s time to cut Gutierrez loose.  The man simply can not get it done.  At a 9.37 ERA, I wish I could fail that often and still have a job that paid me hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Just plain ridiculous.

Dbacks starter Dan Haren didn’t do much to help his ERA either as he gave up four of the six solo shots.  He has now given up 12 home runs this season.  He didn’t give up number 12 until July 5th last season.  He did however continue to amaze at the plate, going 3-4 with 3 RBI.  Note to Dan Haren:  You are NOT Micah Owings.  Just keep reminding yourself of that.

The Dbacks have now won three in a row, in spite of all the runs being given up.  As long as the offense continues to show up, we’ll continue to see a lot of games like this one and the one last night.  Tomorrow we go for number four in a row.
