The Arizona Diamondbacks just proved today every reason why this season will end in nothing but disappointment for fans, not that we were expecting much to begin with.  After losing their third straight 1-run game to the San Francisco Giants, it is clear the Dbacks will do enough to stay "in the game" as my good friend put it today, but just enough to lose.  One run or 20, they all count as losses.

When the Arizona Diamondbacks acquired Juan Miranda in the off-season from the New York Yankees, he immediately was given the keys to the first base starting job.  This spring though, you may see a couple of others take a crack at the job as well.

As we prepare for pitchers and catchers to report in a couple of weeks in Scottsdale, I thought it would be interesting to think about who you thought was the best first baseman in Arizona Diamondbacks history?  John Gambadoro and Dave Burns from Sports 620 KTAR put up their own fantasy rosters today, but I want to throw it out to you to decide position by position, starting with first base.
