Sean Burroughs Starting to Warm Up, Finally

For the past couple of months, I…we’ve all been waiting for the Arizona Diamondbacks Sean Burroughs to come around and start hitting. He was tearing up Reno before his call up earlier this season. I pretty much though had given up on him. I’m glad though he hasn’t given up. Another big add-on RBI tonight in the 6th on a pinch-hit single.

Eric Brynes Back to Earning a Real Paycheck

I am happy to see former Arizona Diamondbacks Eric Byrnes is back to some real work as an analyst on MLB Network. Sure is a long way from his softball playing days. You remember those days, right? You know, the ones where he was still earning a huge paycheck as a former member of the Dbacks. He went off to play softball where he was tearing it up with the best of them.

Hey, I thought Brynes was a great personality for the team. Unfortunately I think he tried too hard at times and really put a lot of pressure on himself to perform. Ultimately he became a liability the Dbacks could no longer hang on to. One thing was for sure, he always hustled and never gave up. I loved the attitude. Just wish I could have said the same about his play. Here in this video however, he gives Harold Reynolds his all.

Pitchers and catchers report in a couple of weeks  in Scottsdale.  As we    all wait for that to happen, I thought it would be interesting to   think  about who you  thought was the best second baseman in Arizona Diamondbacks history?  John Gambadoro and Dave Burns from Sports 620 KTAR put up their own fantasy rosters on Thursday, but I want to throw it out to     you to decide position by position.  I will take the outfield position   by position.  Left field is up now, with right field and center field positions already being posted.
