]]> Predictions are sure to go wrong. They are some of the most useless things bloggers do but it’s also some of the most enjoyable things we do. It gives us a source of embarrassment after the assuredly go wrong, or in the rare occasion we get something right, a source of bragging rights. So with that in mind, here are the official Venom Strikes predictions for the National League sure to go wrong in 2013.

With the Arizona Diamondbacks getting the 3rd and 7th picks of the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft tomorrow, times should be exciting for the Dbacks.  Not only are they winning on the field, their past failures are going to now help pay future dividends.  The Dbacks should get two high quality baseball players who should see a major league field sooner rather than later.

]]> We are only 5 days away from the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft.  The Arizona Diamondbacks look to strike gold as they own the 3rd and 7th picks of the first round.  You should expect gold.  After last years bust, Barret Loux (which is the reason for the 2nd pick at #7), failed to sign, this year fans are demanding the Dbacks do their homework to get it right this time.  Something tells me they will be just fine.
