Kirk Gibson is now the full-time manager of your Arizona Diamondbacks. Interim General Manager Jerry Dipoto will become the Senior Vice President of Scouting and Player Development. That position was created for Dipoto.

The only coaches retained were Matt Williams and Glenn Sherlock.

]]> Jimmy Hascup from FanHouse.com advised me he has some exclusive and interesting news in regards to Jerry Dipoto. The story is written by their MLB Senior Writer Tom Krasovic.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are on the verge of hitting 2 million people in attendance for the season.  I dispute the number though.  They announced over 37,000 the other night and there wasn’t even anywhere close to that.  They are inflating the numbers, something they weren’t doing in the summer.  it sounds like some kind of policy changed with the Dbacks in terms of counting the attendance.

Daniel Hudson makes his first career start tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
