Charles Nagy, Alan Trammel, Don Baylor, Eric Young. No, not your next all-star lineup for the Arizona Diamondbacks, however it is the next best thing, as all four are going to be part of the Dbacks coaching staff in 2011.

Eric Young - He played for seven different teams in his 11 -year career.  He hit .283 lifetime.  He is the Dbacks new first base coach.  A good hire.  Not the biggest name out there, but a guy who knows the infield well.  He stole 465 bases in his career.

Charles Nagy - A very good pitcher for the Cleveland Indians in the 1990's.  He will be the new pitching coach.  He retired in 2003 as a member of the San Diego Padres.  He started the 1996 All-Star Game for the American League.  I think this is an upgrade from Mel Stottlemyre Jr.  I really do.  He recently was pitching coach for the Indians AAA team in Columbus.

Kirk Gibson is now the full-time manager of your Arizona Diamondbacks. Interim General Manager Jerry Dipoto will become the Senior Vice President of Scouting and Player Development. That position was created for Dipoto.

The only coaches retained were Matt Williams and Glenn Sherlock.
