One of the positions the Arizona Diamondbacks have been working on during what has been fairly quiet MLB Winter Meetings, outside of Miami of course, is starting pitching.  The Dbacks have been out looking for another starter.  One starter they would like to get resolved is the status of Joe Saunders.  Saunders, who is arbitration eligible, is looking at a possible $9 million payday if offered arbitration, something the Dbacks want to avoid.  I don’t blame them.
