At least for the Arizona Diamondbacks pitchers and catchers, there are only 20 days of vacation left.  Then, bring on spring training at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale.  Can you believe it will be February tomorrow?  Time flies.  It seems just like yesterday when the D-backs were ousted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLDS.  Now, just under four months later, it’s just three weeks until the D-backs begin their quest to defend their NL West title.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are ready to get going once again.  Today is the day pitchers, catchers, and injured players, amongst any other volunteers, show up in Scottsdale at Salt River Fields to report for Spring Training.  First workout is tomorrow under now full-time manager Kirk Gibson.  Are you ready for some baseball?
