Opening Day Provides Fireworks, Win

The Arizona Diamondbacks looked, well, just about as I expected them to look as they defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-6 in 11 innings on Friday. The hitting was there, as the Dbacks pounded out six doubles and two home runs. The defense and the pitching? Eh…still leaves a lot to be desired, but I think that will be the case all season. The bullpen in the end though with David Hernandez and J.J. Putz got the job done

NL West is the Best

If you are an Arizona Diamondbacks fan, then you must agree, the NL West is the BEST! Of course that is so because it is the only division the Dbacks can win. All this week at Call to the Pen on Fansided, we are pitting the NL’s best rosters against each other in a race for the best divisional roster in all of baseball.
