Dbacks Having Their Way With Yankees So Far

By Scott Allen

Someone had better explain to me where these Dbacks have been all season?  What bit them?  Currently they are leading 6-0 going to the bottom of the top of the third inning.

The Dbacks hit three homers in the first inning.  New York Yankees starter A.J. Burnett gave them all up.  It was the first time since 1987 that that Yankees had given up three home runs in the first inning.    Justin Upton, followed by Adam Laroche, whose ball I think is still traveling, and then Mark Reynolds.  Six runs, eight hits through two innings and starting pitcher Rodrigo Lopez looks great too.  It’s early, but I like it so far.  Too bad it’s only the third inning.  Lots of game left.  Stay tuned…
