1. Giants: 5.7 WAR (#1)

Like the shortstop position, there is one guy that is clearly above the rest in the N.L. West right now behind the plate, and that guy is Buster Posey of the defending world champion Giants.

Posey does everything, is an MVP candidate every year, and is one of the main reasons why the Giants have won three World Series in the last five years.

He is projected to hit .299 with a .387 wOBA, and a 5.0 Fld this season. He is not only the number one catcher in our division, but he is the best backstop in all of baseball.

When Posey plays first, Andrew Susac or Hector Sanchez can catch.
