Its finally back everybody! Baseball games that counts! The 2015 season for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Chip Hale era begins tonight at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix when the Snakes take on the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants.

I am as just excited as you are, and I cant wait to be at Chase when the first pitch of the season is thrown! Here is the great thing about baseball: anything can happen to any team, and on Opening Day everybody’s record is 0-0. Throw 2014 out the window folks, its a new season.

Remember Opening Day 2001 when the St. Louis Cardinals came to town and beat the Diamondbacks 12-9? Who would have thought that seven months later the Diamondbacks would beat the powerful Yankees on a bloop hit by Luis Gonzalez in Game 7 of the World Series. Again: anything can happen!

I hope that fired you up, and I hope your excited for Diamondbacks baseball to begin! Lets be real: its not going to be an easy ride. The N.L. West is going to be tough, and it got even tougher yesterday when the Padres acquired Craig Kimbrel from the Braves. That doesn’t mean it cant be done.
