Triple A: Reno Aces

The Aces offense is scorching to start the season, and the team is 2-2 after the seasons first week.

Catcher Peter O’Brien has 9 hits in twenty at bats (.450) with a .700 slugging percentage, and a 1.150 OPS.

OF Yasmany Tomas has 4 hits in thirteen at bats (.308) with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. He is definitely showing improved patience so far in the minors, and if he continues to have success he will be in the majors soon.

Vidal Nuno and Robbie Ray have looked awfully impressive so far. Nuno went 5 innings in his first start of the season, and he has a 1.80 ERA with 6 strikeouts and 0 walks.

Ray went 6 innings in his first start giving up 1 run. This is good for the whole entire organization because Ray’s and Nuno’s successes will create pressure on the current major-league rotation. Allen Webster has a 18.00 ERA after 1 start.
