The Rawhide are 3-1 to start their season and in first place in their division.
Prized young prospect Domingo Leyba is off to a great start. He has 7 hits in seventeen at bats for a .412 average and a .421 on base percentage. He was part of the three team deal this winter.
On the pitching side, Zach Godley threw 6 shutout innings of 1 hit baseball in his first start.
Meanwhile the Cougars are 0-4 to start their season in the Midwest League as a new affiliate for the Diamondbacks.
C Stryker Trahan is struggling again hitting just .154 this season. It’s unfortunate considering how hyped he was.
