Diamondbacks vs. Padres: Game Info, Arizona going for series win


The Arizona Diamondbacks have a chance to win their second consecutive series Wednesday night.

It’s Jackie Robinson Day at the park as the two NL West teams do battle.

After splitting the first two games against the San Diego Padres, the Diamondbacks will turn to Chase Anderson tonight as they try to pick up the series win. In his first start against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Anderson went 5 innings and gave up five hits, three runs along with three walks. Anderson did have six strikeouts on the night.

The Diamondbacks made headlines Wednesday, when the team brought up slugger Yasmany Tomas. While Tomas isn’t in the lineup, it will be interesting to see if he comes off the bench as a bat.

After a hot night Monday, Ender Inciarte returns to the lineup batting lead-off for the Diamondbacks.
