Aaron Hill was the hero last night as the Arizona Diamondbacks took down division rival San Francisco 7-6 in 12 innings. Hill hit a deep fly ball to left center, scoring two to break a 5-5 tie. Arizona looks to step up their offensive game and change their ways in the bullpen who has given up at least a run during the 7th inning or later in their last five games.

Things to note:

Paul Goldschmidt has homered in back to back games. Goldschmidt broke a tie in the 5th inning with a three run shot to deep left.

San Francisco has lost their first four games at home. They have not started 0-5 at AT&T Park since 2000.

Ender Inciarte had two hits last night and is leading the team in batting average with a .405 percentage.

Josh Collmenter has had two rough starts, both against NL West opponents. He gave up five runs on ten hits with just under five innings of work against the Giants in the season opener.

Jake Peavey was on a short leash against San Diego in his first start allowing four runs on four hits with four innings of pitching. Both pitchers are looking to bounce back and earn their first win of the year.
