Pitching Matchup: LHP Francisco Liriano (0-1) vs. RHP Jeremy Hellickson (1-2)
Jeremy Hellickson has had a rough start to the 2015 season. However, he may have had a breakthrough in his last start allowing only 1 earned run in 6 2/3 innings against the Giants. With a 4.58 ERA and a tough pitcher facing his lineup, Hellickson will need another solid outing if Arizona hopes to win this one.
Francisco Liriano has yet to win a start this season. It has not all been his fault. He has three solid starts under his belt, but the Pirates anemic offense has kept him out of the win column.
