Brandon Drury (AA-Mobile)

We begin in Alabama with the D-backs AA affiliate, the Mobile BayBears. Mobile has a few members on their roster that are also part of the Arizona 40-man roster and among them is Brandon Drury. Drury is a 22-year old third basemen that was drafted in the 13th round of the 2010 Draft by Atlanta.

Drury’s 2015 season numbers aren’t eye popping (.247 AVG, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 8 R), but this past week he’s found a hot bat. Drury went 8-for-26 (.333) with a homer and three RBI. He added in three doubles and scored on five occasions. Drury spent last season in A level ball, with some time in AA Mobile as well. This indicates that he may have a cup of coffee in AAA Reno some this season.
