Aaron Blair (AA-Mobile)

Aaron Blair is a 2013 Draft pick from the Diamondbacks and product out of Marshall. Standing at 6’5 and weighing 230 pounds, Blair is an intimidating presence on the mound. Last season, Blair spent time in Visalia as well as in Mobile, having an impressive 5 starts with the BayBears in 2014.

Blair has picked up right where he left off and pitched his best game of the season earlier this week. Blair went 7 innings and struck out 7 batters while only surrendering one run. Due to uncertainty with the D-backs pitching, it’s not difficult to envision Blair getting some time with the AAA club in Reno.
