Peter O’Brien (AAA-Reno)

All eyes have been on O’Brien to start the 2015 season. After not receiving an invitation the D-backs Opening Day roster, all O’Brien has done to start the season in Reno is hit .367 with 7 home runs and 22 RBI. Instead of playing behind the dish, O’Brien has manned the outfield to maximize his offensive prowess.

The 6’4, 235-pound product from the University of Miami is still just 24-years old, but his hot start warrants a call up. This week he went 7-for-21 (.333) with a homer, three doubles and three RBI. O’Brien should receive the first call if a Diamondback falls due to injury.
