A.J. Schugel (AAA-Reno)

A.J. Schugel is a 25-year old draft pick from 2010. Schugel is the only player on this list that has played for the Diamondbacks in 2015. It was his MLB debut and he gave up 2 runs over 3 innings. Schugel needs to make himself available at a moment’s notice because he’s on the short list of AAA pitchers to be considered for a spot start.

Earlier this week in Reno, Schugel collected a victory for the Aces. He went 5 innings and allowed two runs with three hits. The more concerning part of this outing was that he walked six batters, which no doubt cut his outing short.
