Which Dbacks Catcher Will Win The Starting Job?

Jordan Pacheco
Although not as handy defensively, Jordan Pacheco has been regarded as the more offensively capable of the two big league catchers. Pacheco had started his career in Colorado with the Rockies so its not surprising that he would produce good offensive numbers. In 2012, Pacheco hit .309 with 5 home runs and 54 RBI.
Last season, Pacheco split time between Colorado and Arizona. His 2015 hasn’t been an immediate success as he’s 8-for-33 (.242). Pacheco has slugged a homer and has drove in 6. Pacheco has a couple more walks than Tuffy, even with the much less plate appearances. Pacheco’s job security isn’t very strong at the moment, however.
