Dbacks Players of the Week Bring Out The Lumber

The Dbacks are coming off a week in which their success was powered by their hitting. The week started with a couple of rain outs in Colorado, but Arizona was able to play a doubleheader at Coors Field. They won both games of the doubleheader with the scores of 13-7 and 5-1. Sitting at 14-16, Arizona will need to continue the hitting if they want to fend off this week’s opponents.

The Dbacks would return to Chase Field to host the San Diego Padres and they started right where they left off in their previous series, with an 11-0 victory. After a couple of losses, Arizona was able to win the last game of the week 2-1. Needless to say, a few of the Dbacks victories were dependent on great offensive performances.
