Goldy didn’t have the exceptionally high batting average this week as he did last week. In fact, he had no part in the 13-run onslaught against Colorado to start the week. However, Goldy went from hitting singles and doubles to hitting bombs. In the 6 games this week, Goldschmidt smacked 3 home runs with 5 RBI.

Goldy’s 9 home runs leads the Dbacks and ranks 3rd among National Leaguers. Goldy’s 27 RBI also lead the Dbacks and ranks among the Top 5 in the National League. During this past week, he went 7-for-23 (.304) which puts his season average to .345, good for 4th among National Leaguers.
