Aaron Hill

This has to be a pleasant surprise for the Dbacks faithful, and a much needed one to. With Ahmed’s struggles at the plate, someone was bound to show out eventually. This past week was the prime example and is reason enough to consider Hill as an everyday player once again. Hill went 8-for-15 (.533) with 2 home runs and 5 RBI.

Hill has experienced career highs of 36 home runs and 108 RBI. With Arizona, the best he’s done was 26 homers and 85 RBI back in 2012. Hill started both games of the doubleheader and it paid dividends. Hill went 6-for-9 with 4 RBI that day. If Hill can continue to be an imposing force at the plate, his time on the pine will soon be nonexistent.
