No one had their stuff working better this week than De La Rosa. He was able keep up the momentum of the Colorado doubleheader and carry it into the opener of the San Diego series. After his team gave him a comfortable lead, De La Rosa was able to deal without worries.
De La Rosa went 7 scoreless innings while allowing 3 hits and striking out 7. It was his best performance of the 2015 season and it led him to his third victory. One of the most important keys to a successful ball club is to have depth up and down the starting rotation. On Thursday night, De La Rosa did one better.
