Evan Marshall
I know what you’re thinking. But let’s imagine that Marshall repays his dues in the minors and completes his assignment with no bumps in the road. For those who aren’t aware, Marshall was recently sent down to Reno after an 0-2, 6.08 ERA start to his season in Arizona. He’s been especially vulnerable to the long ball.
For those that remember, however, Marshall was fairly serviceable out of the bullpen last season. He went 4-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 49 ⅓ innings. If Marshall is able to work out his issues with no setbacks, he should be able to return shortly. The 25-year old could see an opportunity given his potential and young age.
