Dbacks Closer: If Not Reed, Then Who?

Here’s a wild card. Apparently an expensive one, too. Soriano was linked to Miami as recent recent as yesterday. However, the Marlins expressed that they no longer had the desire to sign the free agent, citing too high an asking price. Soriano’s agent is Scott Boras after all.
Soriano is a legitimate closer who’s got 3 seasons with 40+ saves. Interestingly enough all 3 seasons came with different ball clubs (Tampa Bay 45, New York Yankees 42, Washington 43). If Arizona considers themselves a contender, Soriano’s services may be a priority.
