The Dbacks will head to the East coast for the first time this season as they visit the City of Brotherly Love. The struggling Phillies will await them there. Arizona will look to bounce back after losing their previous series in heartbreaking fashion. After having a disappointing start to 2015, Philadelphia is coming off a decent showing.

Arizona was an inning away from winning their 3-game series against Washington, but Addison Reed was unable save the game and the Dbacks ended up losing 2 of 3 against Nats. Our Reed sentiments and potential replacements have been well documented.  The Phillies are coming off a 4-game series split against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Arizona (15-18) is currently in 4th place in the National League West and are 6.5 games back from Los Angeles. If they wish to avoid staying in 4th for the rest of the year, they’re going to need a few series victories. Philadelphia (13-23) is having another disastrous season. They sit in last place in the National League East and are most likely destined to stay there. Lowly or not, the Phillies still have a few bright spots and here are some of them.
