Odubel Herrera

The Phillies rebuilding effort is catching a break with the discovery of Herrera. The 23-year old Venezuelan made his MLB debut on Opening Day this season. Something tells me that the Phillies will be representing Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic for years to come. Herrera, like Galvis, are potential franchise difference makers.

Herrera is currently hitting .274 and is second on the team with 34 hits. He’s scored 12 runs, driven in 10 run, and adds in a homer. These are similar numbers to Galvis. Herrera has also stolen 5 bases. The Dbacks may have to watch out for the rookie during the series.
