The Arizona Diamondbacks will have an extended stay in South Beach when they take on the Miami Marlins for a 4 game series. Both clubs are struggling to gain any momentum and Miami has gone as far as firing their manager yesterday. The Dbacks aren’t too well either as they’re coming off a horrendous 1-5 week.

Both Miami and Arizona are coming off being swept. The Marlins dropped 3 straight against Atlanta, while the Dbacks dropped 3 straight against the Phillies. Arizona (15-21) and Miami (16-22) both sit in 4th place of their respective divisions. They are both coming off 1-5 weeks and are both 3-7 in their last 10 games.

With both clubs boasting powerful stars and great leadoff men, it’s rather surprising to see that they haven’t been successful. In a long 4 game series, one team has the chance to get right back on track. On the other hand, after this series, one team may reach the point of no return. Here’s Miami’s players to look out for.
