Aaron Hill
It was a toss up between Goldy and Hill in this last offensive slot. I decided to go with Hill because he had one more hit, in less at bats. We’ve had an extended look at Hill’s potential comeback season. Even as recent as this past week, Hill has inched closer to get everyday playing time.
The month of May has been absolutely a treat for Hill. He’s hitting .444 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI. Three of those RBI came this past week, along with a couple of runs. He went 6-for-15 (.400) this past week, which has contributed to the sky rocketing of his season batting average. It’s .291.
