Rubby De La Rosa

De La Rosa has been the hottest starting pitcher in the rotation at the moment. In a players of the week article, it makes sense to include the pitcher the notched the lone win. It was the 2nd game of the Washington series and saw De La Rosa go 7 innings. He surrendered 4 runs, but on that night he received plenty of run support.

It was the second straight game in which De La Rosa reached 7 innings and grabbed the victory. The first one earned him a spot in last week’s edition. De La Rosa will get the chance to start off this upcoming week on the right foot and will also receive a 2nd start in the week. Perhaps he makes another appearance next week.
