Yeah, he’s #WorthTheWait. After absolutely raking in Spring Training, Bryant was sent down to AAA to start the season. Under very shady circumstances, Bryant was immediately called up after two weeks, so he wasn’t available to log in a full season. It’s a business after all. The 23-year old Las Vegas native is a bulking 6’5, 215 specimen of a baseball player. Bryant’s got world-class power and it’s going to be a treat to watch Bryce Harper and him go at it for years.
In his rookie campaign, Bryant is hitting .289 with 5 homers. His 27 RBI leads the Cubs and is also tops among the rookies. Bryant is currently enjoying a 10-game hitting streak. His last game against San Diego saw him smack a two run home run. Because this is Bryant’s first ever meeting against the Dbacks, he has no experience against any of their pitchers. Regardless, it’ll be fun watching him and Tomas fight over the National League Rookie of the Year honors.
