As any Snakes’ fan knows, you don’t leave when Paul Goldschmidt steps to the plate. Despite going 0 for 3 yesterday, he drew another two walks, giving him 43 for the season, two behind Bryce Harper for the most in the game. His on-base percentage sits at a robust .470, one point below Harper, also good for second. Expect the Met pitchers to go after Goldschmidt, not avoid him.
