Since Ruben Tejada moved to third base, he has been a different player. Literally. Now it is his bat that is making noise while his fielding has become suspect. Making his sixth straight start at third base last night, Tejada went 3 for 5 but also committed two errors in the Mets’ 7-3 defeat. He is hitting .288 with a solid .365 OBP.
